Words inevitably fail to convey the magnificent variance that defines Greece for the traveller. The light, the colour, the natural vegetation, the Orthodox chapels and churches inside and out, the orchards, the sea, the sun, the beaches, the clear air, the stars, the moonlight present a kaleidoscope of sensation to the ambling cyclist!
